About the store - Greenhouse Emporium
In contrast to Amazon and eBay, we actually offer customer support. You can leave us a message, call us, or chat with us and we will help you the best way we can. We might not be able to compete with Costco, Walmart & Co in terms of prices, but we care about our customers.
In addition, we are a small business. We don’t use a call center for returning calls. You will speak to an actual person that is affiliated with Greenhouse Emporium, whether it is through email or on the phone.
So, why do we link to Amazon for some products. We made the hard decision to forward you to Amazon for certain items, because we cannot compete with them for pricing. In this case, you are better off ordering these specific items there. As long as you are happy, we are happy, too. Of course, we are thankful for any business so don’t forget to browse through our store or give us a call – we’ll help you find what you need!
We are an authorized dealer of every manufacturer we carry. Which means you will get the most up to date product information and full manufacturer warranties will be honored for all products that you can purchase from us!
We are an online-only retailer in order to keep our prices low. If you want to see a product in real life before you purchase, give us a call and we will see if we can find something near you to view.
Shipping and freight is free to the continental U.S.
Unfortunately we can only ship to the continental United States.

After receiving the product(s)
In the rare event that your delivery is damaged, all of our suppliers will work to quickly send replacement parts or even a completely new delivery if the need arises. This is entirely up to the discretion of the manufacturer, but your satisfaction as a customer is the top priority of both Greenhouse Emporium and the manufacturers we represent.
Please contact us immediately if your delivery is damaged and mark the receipt document that the shipper gives you with the word “DAMAGED” on it to signify into the shipper’s system that the delivery was damaged. Parts damaged by the shipping carriers must be reported to us within 10 days of the time the damaged packages arrive.
Missing parts must be reported to us within 5 days of receiving your purchase. Please complete the inventory list before attempting assembly as instructed. It is very important to inventory every box asap, even if you do not plan on constructing the greenhouse right away.
This way we can send out parts before you start the assembly process. It has happened that a customer started assembling a greenhouse and then noticed a missing part. This not only prevents your product from being damaged due to being half assembled, but saves you time as well.
You should ALWAYS do an inventory check as soon as you can upon receiving your order. That way we can send out missing or damaged parts asap. We cannot guarantee that we can send out damaged/missing parts after weeks or months of receiving the product.
If we can we will, however, there is no guarantee we will be able to after a large amount of time has passed.
Assembly & Ground Preparation
We have put a lot of information into this blog post: All You Need to Know About Greenhouse Foundation & Flooring. Please read it, if the following answer isn’t helpful enough.
You should set up your greenhouse on level ground in order to ensure proper assembly.
We recommend gravel, dirt, or peet rock for the interior foundation of your greenhouse.
We DO NOT recommend an interior cement foundations because it holds a lot of heat in the summer and a lot of cold in the winter. Cement footings is perfectly fine and some greenhouses even require the use of cement footings / foundation.
Some people have installed their greenhouse on a wooden deck or patio, which can be useful for smaller greenhouses. The main concern of this method is the temperature leakage since a wooden deck has gaps that let in air. Therefore, we do not recommend it for larger greenhouses.
We like to say: If you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can assemble a greenhouse. Each product comes with a detailed manual. There are also videos available for some products.
For questions concerning the construction of a specific greenhouse please refer to that product page for more information or email us at email@example.com.
This depends on your skill set and the product. We include this information for each product in the “Features & Benefits” section. However, the estimated time can still be longer or shorter depending on your skills and how many people you have helping you.
This depends on each product. Some come with everything included and others don’t. Check out the “Features & Benefits” section of the product you are looking at. If this information is not included, feel free to reach out to us via email or phone.
We do not offer this service. Most general contractors are able to set up your greenhouse and prepare the ground. Most of our products have the assembly manual listed under the “Features & Benefits” tab. This may help with the estimated cost for the contractor.
We do have a recommended contractor / constructors for certain areas. Please email or call us to see if we have a recommendation for your area.
